platelet-rich-plasma-prpPRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)
The blood is comprised of two components, the red blood cells & plasma. The platelet rich plasma contains a concentrated source of autologous platelet. The platelets collected in PRP are activated by calcium chloride after blood is collected in special tubes which induces the release the growth factor cytokines which include the following:

  •  Connective tissue growth factor
  •  Insulin – like growth factor
  •  Epidermal growth factor
  •  Interlock 8 growth factor

These proteins are key to tissue growth. They also contain stem cells which allows for cell division and growth.
Spinning and preparing the plasma, the platelet rich part is reinjected using small needle in the facial & neck area. These protein & growth factors bind to cellular receptors and activate intercellular events immediately.

  1. New cell proliferation
  2. Migration of stem cells to area
  3. Matrix synthesis
  4. Production of extra cellular matrix proteins
